Herniated Disc and Pinched Nerve

The pain came and gone and than again. Now the pain is there and stays when this first happened. I went to a hospital in a little hick town that really should be shut down anyways. But they did a c-t scan and said nothing was wrong with me except a pulled muscle or two. That was when it first started. Now 1 wk ago I decided I can't take the pain anymore and I need to get this taken care of. My lower back hurts and tingles almost all day long. It hurts to bend, lift or carry anything at all. The bad thing about that is I have 2 little girls that are 3 and 2 and I can't just stop doing things because I have pain. It's impossible. Anyways, I went to a family doc here where I live and he is the only one in this town. He looked me over and told me I might have some pulled muscles or something and gave me naprosyn for pain which as I understand is the same as advil or ibuprofen. It is not working for me at all and I let him know it wasn't in the beginning. I went to a chiro the next day because I knew it was more than pulled muscles and he told me after x rays that there wasn't anything severe but I do more than likely have a herniated disk and a pinched nerve.

I'm guessing because of my leg hurting and being numb but tingling. I don't want to come off as a pain pill seeker but at this point i just want a break from hurting and time to spend with my kids and be up and able to move without having to stop and take 2-4 hours to be able to get back up and repeat the process. Can anyone help me with this please. If so let me know what you would do. please. - Joe
