Mission Statement
HERNIATED-DISC-PAIN.ORG is a place where disc pain patients can find a sense of community and share their stories. The writing is not designed to confuse with technical medical jargon, but rather, to facilitate understanding of the basic concepts of back and neck pain by all patients. HERNIATED-DISC-PAIN.ORG is written to provide the reader with an alternative to the “usual” medical sites on herniated disc pain. Many internet sites are run by companies that endorse a particular product, service, or treatment. This site is designed to be objective and to liberate the patient from the corporate monopoly on quality herniated disc information. HERNIATED-DISC-PAIN.ORG is directed towards the back pain patient as its core audience. This site is not designed to diagnose, treat or cure any disease or condition. This site does not qualify as professional medical advice. This site is certainly not designed to replace the relationship between doctor and patient. All materials authored exclusively by the editorial board, unless otherwise posted. Most articles are authored by Sensei Adam Rostocki, who is not a doctor or medical professional, usually in consultation with one or more members of the editorial board for supportive evidence, citations, statistics, opinions and/or examples. The author of every article is posted below the title or to the right of the title. Reader submissions are featured on the interactive forum and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the editorial board. All pages are current and newsworthy when published. Pages are updated as new information becomes available. All pages contain the date that they were originally published, as well as the date of last revision. Please enjoy HERNIATED-DISC-PAIN.ORG and visit often. Remember, this site is dedicated to YOU, the patient. The latest updates can always be found on the site blog and we do offer a free newsletter, as well.
